BOC has become the exclusive UK distributor of the Ohio Medical Corporation range of suction therapy devices.
BOC, a subsidiary of The Linde Group, has won exclusive UK distribution rights for the Ohio Medical Corporation’s range of suction therapy devices. The recent agreement extends BOC Healthcare’s equipment portfolio, elevating the company to a total solutions and service provider for suction and oxygen therapy (SOT) equipment.
Marking the beginning of this partnership, BOC is launching a new patented technology ‘Push-To-Set™’ vacuum regulator range. The device has an inbuilt mechanism that automatically establishes a vacuum limit with each vacuum level setting or change. The medical practitioner can utilise it to ensure a reliable method of setting the regulator for safe suctioning and reduces risk to the patient.
The distribution agreement augments the existing relationship between BOC Healthcare and Ohio Medical, who already enjoy a successful supply and distribution exchange. Andrew Harvey, Head of BOC Healthcare, expressed his pleasure at the new contract. He said, “We are delighted to be developing a relationship with Ohio Medical and acting as the sole distributor in the UK for their range of suction equipment. This partnership adds to BOC’s equipment portfolio and provides our customers with a complete solution for their gas and suction needs.”
David Finney, Chief Executive Officer of Ohio Medical Corp, responded with equal positivism. He added, “Ohio Medical Corporation is thrilled to have this partnership with BOC. Their strong distribution network in the UK coupled with Ohio’s manufacturing leadership role in suction therapy will bring powerful solutions to our customers.”
