bp signs third LNG offtake contract with Woodfibre LNG


All the liquefied natural gas (LNG) produced at the Woodfibre LNG export facility in British Columbia is committed for sale to the oil and gas company bp.

The UK-based firm has signed its third long-term LNG contract with the Canadian LNG site.

Under the terms of the latest contract, bp will receive an additional 0.45 million tonnes of LNG annually for a 15-year period on a free-on-board (FOB) basis.
