Buckeye Partners acquires CCS specialist Elysian
Infrastructure and logistics provider Buckeye Partners has acquired carbon capture and storage (CCS) specialist Elysian Carbon Management (Elysian) from EnCap Flatrock Midstream.
Based in Oklahoma, Elysian provides end-to-end CCS solutions to industrial, power, and similar facilities to support the transition to lower carbon products to advance emissions reduction goals.
The purchase will advance Buckeye’s strategy to become a Net Zero energy business by 2040, across Scope 1 and Scope 2 greenhouse gas emissions.
