Bulgaria to have 10 hydrogen stations by 2025


Bulgaria’s government has approved a national programme for alternative fuels market development, which will see 10 hydrogen (H2) filling stations constructed by 2025.

The Deputy Minister for Transport, Information Technology and Communications, Anguel Popov, announced the news at the presentation of H2 automobile technologies, and said, “There is no a single charging station in the country while H2 technology gets ever more popular.”

Popov announced that they are examining possible locations for such stations and it is “highly probable” the first one will be built in Bourgas.
