The Busch Group has expanded its Pfeiffer Vacuum+Fab Solutions production facility in Cluj, Romania, launching a modern, two-story extension that strengthens its footprint in the region.
The official ribbon-cutting ceremony took place on 12th December, 2024, at Nervia Industrial Park in Apahida, Cluj County, with key representatives from the Busch Group, including Co-owner and Co-CEO Sami Busch, in attendance. The event also marked two milestones: Busch Romania’s 10th anniversary and the establishment of a new company, Composites Busch Romania.
The expanded facility integrates advanced infrastructure designed to enhance operations and employee well-being. It features a canteen with a terrace, rest areas, and a new photovoltaic system with 1,456 solar panels, which now generate 10–15% of the company’s energy supply, with the remainder source from renewable electricity.
