US energy company Calpine is installing carbon capture technology at its Los Medanos Energy Centre in Pittsburg, California in a bid to cut its emissions from natural gas combustion.
Engineering design and modular construction company Koch Modular has announced the forthcoming launch of the demonstration project, dubbed Project Enterprise.
In addition to Koch Modular technology, the US-based project will also feature a carbon capture solvent developed by Colorado-based ION Clean Energy.
