The Carbon Capture Coalition has welcomed Capital Power, an Alberta-based power generator, as a new participant.
Formerly known as the National Enhanced Oil Recovery Initiative, the coalition aims to raise awareness of the potential of carbon capture as a national energy, economic, and environmental strategy.
“The US must drastically increase the use of carbon capture technology in power generation in order to meet mid-century emissions reduction targets,” said Brad Crabtree, Coalition Director.
