The US’ Compressed Gas Association (CGA) is calling all potential applicants from within the industrial & specialty gases business, as it searches for a suitable candidate to fill its Technical Director position.
Following previous incumbent Roger Smith’s transition, the CGA is striving to fill the Technical Director position (ideally) prior to its April 2010 Annual Meeting.
The association hopes to make an official announcement at its April meeting, though this is dependent on finding a suitable candidate and reaching agreeable employment terms.
The CGA announced the newly-vacated position in its December 2009 Compressions newsletter, requesting applications by the end of January 2010. Unfortunately, however, the association received no applications from those in the industry. One internal application was received, which is being reviewed at present, but the CGA has revealed that it has extended its deadline for applications – and will now be accepting resumes through until the end of March 2010.
