Cheniere Energy signs LNG supply deal with Korea Southern Power

Cheniere Energy has signed a long-term liquified natural gas (LNG) sales and purchase agreement with Korea Southern Power (KOSPO).

KOSPO today (16^th May) said it would purchase around 0.4 million tonnes per annum of LNG from the US-based LNG firm from 2027 through to 2046.

A smaller annual quantity will be delivered from 2024.

Volumes set to be delivered from 2028 through to 2046 are subject to a positive final investment decision with respect to the first train of the Sabine Pass Liquefaction Expansion Project.
