Cheniere to invest in two more LNG trains in Texas


Cheniere Energy has confirmed that Corpus Christi Midscale trains 8 & 9 have reached final investment decision.

The trains, being built next to the stage three project, will provide total liquefaction capacity of over 3 million tonnes per annum (mtpa) of LNG.

Upon completion, they will raise overall liquefaction capacity to 30 mtpa later this decade.

Jack Fusco, Cheniere’s President and CEO, said investment in the two trains was an important milestone.
