Entitled ‘Avoiding Medical Gas Mix-Ups’, the Compressed Gas Association (CGA) has released its new safety training video designed to prevent medical gas incidents.
Serious injury and death can occur when dealing with medical gases, gas mix-ups which have been an ongoing concern of both the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) and The Joint Commission on the Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations (JCAHO).
As the oldest medical and industrial gas association in North America, the CGA and its 125 member companies tackle this issue in a new safety training video – Avoiding Medical Gas Mix-Ups (AV-12).
Produced in DVD format, the safety training tool is an informative, easy-to-follow and important product for anyone who administers, handles, purchases or receives medical gases.
