The Colorado firm, Digital Wave Corporation, is the first UE machine manufacturer to be granted a Transport Canada Equivalency Certificate (EC) for the ultrasonic examination (UE) recertification of seamless high pressure gas cylinders.
Digital Wave Corporation manufactures ultrasonic examination (UE) cylinder testing equipment, modal acoustic emission (AE) testing equipment and is a provider of associated inspection services. The Company and its partners serve both private and governmental industries.
The EC accolade was awarded following Transport Canada’s audit of Digital Wave’s UE1 and UE23 scanning systems and procedures. The certification allows Digital Wave to recertify TC-3AM, TC-3AAM, TC-3ANM, TC-3ALM cylinders, as well as several PELS or Special Permit cylinders and stamp cylinders with the registered mark, 628. Consequently, the firm expects this to increase demand from Canadian customers.
