North Carolina-based gas equipment distributor Equigas has acquired cryogenic service provider Correct Cryogenics.
Located in the Southwest US, Correct Cryogenics will enhance Equigas’ service offering and position in the US cryogenic and industrial gas markets.
Rick Davis founded Correct Cryogenics with his son, Scott Davis, in 2003 and will now retire after over 40 years in the industry.
Moving forward, Rick Davis will take an advisory role, and Scott Davis will continue as a Partner and Vice-President of Operations, supporting the integration into Equigas.
Over the years, Correct Cryogenics has cultivated strong partnerships with several West Coast service providers.
“Equigas extends its gratitude to the dedicated integration teams from both companies for their hard work in making this acquisition a success,” Rafael Arvelo, President and CEO of Equigas, said.
Arvelo continued, “Equigas remains committed to continuous growth, with the sole purpose of providing exceptional service and solutions to its customers.”
The acquisition comes as Equigas celebrates seven years at its North Carolina site.
