Montauk Renewables has signed a deal to supply European Energy with 140,000 tonnes per year of biogenic carbon dioxide (CO2) for its Texas-based e-methanol facility.
The 15-year contract, with an option to extend, will see Montauk capture, clean, and liquify the CO2 at select Texas facilities before it is transported via truck to European Energy’s site.
