Born in 1945, WITT Gasetechnik is proving that though benefiting from a history of longevity, it is ever evolving, as the firm releases its newest version of the flashback arrestor.
The German manufacturer, WITT recently launched an updated version of its flashback arrestor 85-20 which offers typical operational pressure of 1.5 bar, with a maximum operating pressure of 2 bar.
The device is available in either brass or stainless steel and promises to improve accident protection in special applications, such as flame spraying and thermal coating methods. WITT assures suppliers that it will deliver the ‘highest accident protection at high pressure.’
Technical features include triple protection ensured by a non-return valve, flame arrestor as well as a cut-off valve for added security.
In accordance with quality standards (DIN EN 730 / ISO 5175-1), WITT checks all functions of each individual flashback arrestor before delivery which means that the latest device benefits from reliability.
