EverWind Fuels and Maritime Launch Services are exploring a green liquid oxygen supply agreement from the former’s planned green hydrogen facility in Point Tupper, Nova Scotia.
Under a Letter of Intent (LOI) both companies will explore mutually beneficial supply agreements.
Maritime Launch Services is developing Spaceport Nova Scotia near Canso and green liquid oxygen is required for operations. Maritime Launch expects to be operational in 2024, and EverWind Fuels in 2025.
EverWind Fuels last month received Environmental Approval for the initial phase of its $6bn, 1 Mtpa annum green hydrogen and green ammonia project located in Point Tupper.
