ExxonMobil has renewed its status as a founding member of the MIT Energy Initiative (MITEI) low-carbon energy research and education mission for another five years.
The renewed membership will see ExxonMobil expand its participation in MITEI’s Low Carbon Energy Centres. The Texas-based company will join MITEI’s Centre for Carbon Capture, the MITEI Centre for Energy Storage and the MITEI Mobility Systems Centre.
“ExxonMobil has been supporting MITEI researchers over the last five years to help develop breakthrough solutions that can make a difference in emissions reduction,” said Vijay Swarup, Vice-President of Research and Development for ExxonMobil Research and Engineering Company.
