Fifth Linde plant receives certification


The certification of only three Linde North America facilities is awaiting before the close of 2008, after the company received the Responsible Care Certification of its Nashville, Tennessee, air separation plant.

Certification was granted under the American Chemistry Council’s (ACC) Responsible Care® programme and swiftly follows the recent award of such status to its Cartersville, Georgia manufacturing facility.

A member of The Linde Group, Linde North America is seeking to ensure that eight of its locations across the US are certified under the programme, by the end of 2008.

Earlier this year, Linde’s corporate headquarters in Murray Hill, New Jersey received certification under the Responsible Care® programme and the Nashville plant is the fifth of eight locations to be certified. Those others that have been certified are located in Cartersville, Georgia; South Bend, Indiana; Kittery, Maine; and Vancouver, Washington.
