First ISO General Assembly to be held on African soil


The South African Bureau of Standards (SABS) CEO Martin Kuscus recently hosted the 32nd ISO General Assembly (GA) in Cape Town, South Africa.

The International Organisation for Standardization (ISO)is the world’s largest developer and publisher of International Standards.

For industrial gas companies, meeting ISO standards is crucial in maintaining customer trust; accreditation provides quality assurance and confirms that regulations have been met by the company.

Back in September, ISO delegates gathered together for the GA, which was hosted by SABS, the leading standards body on the African continent.
