Framatome and Hydrogenious Technologies continue joint work on hydrogen storage in LOHCs

French reactor business Framatome’s energy storage brand Covalion and German hydrogen storage company Hydrogenious Technologies are continuing to work jointly on hydrogen storage in liquid organic hydrogen carries (LOHC).

Following a successful first collaboration on the ‘Smart Grid Solar’ project in Arzberg, Bavaria, the two companies agreed on closer cooperation at the beginning of January 2019 to give the LOHC technology a broader foothold in the growing hydrogen market.

As both partners are based within Erlangen, Bavaria, this collaboration will strengthen the city’s role as the world’s central industrial location for developments in the field of LOHC.
