Freeport LNG restarts final liquefaction train in Texas

Freeport LNG Development has received regulatory approvals to restart commercial operations at the final train of its Texas-based liquefaction site.

With the latest approval, the whole Freeport LNG site will be up and running, following an explosion that put operations at a standstill for eight months.

Just two weeks ago, the LNG export company received regulatory approval to restart Trains 2 and 3 to full commercial operations. The start-up of these assets produce in excess of 1.5 billion cubic feet per day.
