Today, gasworld launched its new website, designed to offer more clarity and extensive services to the global gases community. The development of the site has been three years in the making as we consulted users and sponsors on what they were looking for from a news and information portal.

Built using the Abacus Emedia Webvision platform, the new site will allow easier access to news and features whilst also providing regular newsletters specifically designed for various audiences within the gases community. In addition, it will also give sponsors or advertisers a greater opportunity to generate further leads to business using a wider range of promotional opportunities.

Evans added, “And thanks to its design, the site will grow and adapt with our customers’ needs. In the immediate future for instance, we are looking forward to launching an online forum in which users can discuss issues and be brought face-to-face with their colleagues, competitors and most importantly, clients. Early in 2012 we will then go on to launch our in-house and external blogs, in which experts will discuss the most contemporary of gases issues.”
