The World Biogas Association (WBA) has announced postponement of The World Biogas Summit and World Biogas Expo 202 to 15-16th June 2022 due to rising Omicron infections.
The events, to be held in partnership with the UK Anaerobic Digestion and Bioresources Association (ADBA) was originally scheduled to take place from 2nd-3rd March.
Commenting on the postponement, Charlotte Morton, Chief Executive, WBA, said, “After extensive consultation with our stakeholders, it was decided to postpone hosting the physical World Biogas Summit, World Biogas Expo and AD and Biogas Industry Awards Ceremony to mid-June, by which time we hope the situation with Omicron will have dramatically improved.”
The AD and Biogas Industry Awards Ceremony has also been rescheduled to the evening of 15th June at the Vox Conference Centre in Birmingham. Entry deadline for the Awards has been extended to 18th February.
