US-BASED GOW-MAC has launched a new process instrument with two models.

The new series 1300 gas analyzers, which cover different analytical ranges, measures trace amounts of nitrogen in helium. Model 1300-A covers 0-2/0-20 ppm and model 1300-B covers 0-20/0-200 ppm.

According to the instrument manufacturer detection is based on spectral emission of helium plasma. High signal gain and improved noise rejection and gives the series 1300 the guaranteed sensitivity of ten parts-per-billion (ppb) for nitrogen.

GOW-MAC said: The Series 1300 is designed as a rugged, low cost, low maintenance, simple to operate analyzer. There are no valves, carrier gas, or radioactive source and the analyzer is maintenance-free.
