Goyal Gases ‘surges ahead’ with SAIL ASU contract


Goyal MG Gases Pvt. Ltd (GMGL), one of the leading industrial gas companies of Indian origin, has announced the signing of a contract with the largest steel maker in India, Steel Authority Of India Limited (SAIL).

GMGL will provide an ASU for SAIL, a Government of India undertaking, at it’s largest steel production facility in Bhillai, Chattisgarh.

The Bhillai steel plant is the nine-times winner of the Prime Minister’s Trophy for Best Integrated Steel Plant in the country, and is India’s sole producer of rails and heavy steel plates and a major producer of structural products.

The plant is the sole supplier of the country’s longest rail tracks, at 260m each, with an annual production capacity of 3.153 metric tonnes of saleable steel.
