A new 450m3 vacuum insulated storage tank developed and manufactured by Hangyang Cryogenic Storage Tank Company has been shipped to Australia.
The tank is understood to be the largest of its kind developed and manufactured in China.
The company said that the success of this project has given the company some precious experience in the manufacturing of extra large-scale storage tanks, as well as ‘an outstanding company reference’.
According to gasworld China, it is reported that this storage tank, with an overall length of 40 metres, diameter of 4.6 metres and gross weight of 134 tonnes, is manufactured for BOC Australia.
