HECTOR project launches to deploy fuel cell garbage trucks


A project which will deploy fuel cell garbage trucks across the North West Europe has launched. 

The HECTOR project – Hydrogen Waste Collection Vehicles in North West Europe – will deploy and test seven fuel cell garbage trucks.

The project, coordinated by the European association HyER (Hydrogen Fuel Cells and Electro-Mobility in European Regions), aims to demonstrate fuel cell garbage trucks as an effective solution to reduce road transport emissions in North West Europe.
