Helium Evolution’s farm-in partner, North American Helium, has spud Test Well #4 on farmout lands within Block 3 at Fox in Saskatchewan.
Pursuant to the farm-out agreement announced in October 2022, the spud was achieved six months ahead of schedule.
North American Helium is responsible for 100% of the drilling costs for the well, while Helium Evolution holds a 20% working interest.
News of the spud follows Helium Evolution abandoning a number of wells in the Canadian province. Just last month, August 2023, the company abandoned its third farmout in a two-month period.
