Hydrogen station safety set to be boosted with new TESCOM valve; Emerson launches its latest innovation

Emerson has launched a brand-new valve to isolate process pressure in high-pressure gas applications, such as hydrogen fuelling stations and tube trailers, to reduce fugitive emissions and improve safety.

Launched by the US-based technology and software company on Wednesday (20th July), the TESCOM™ Anderson Greenwood Instrumentation H2 Valve Series is suitable for hydrogen applications up to 15,000 psi.

In hydrogen refuelling applications, when hydrogen is moved from tank to pump, the clean energy carrier is transferred at pressures of up to 15,000 psi. To protect personnel and prevent leaks, it must be effectively controlled and isolated.
