INOX India launches ultra-high-purity ammonia tank for chip and solar sectors


Cryogenic technology developer INOX India has launched a new ultra-high-purity ammonia ISO tank container that it says will support global semiconductor and solar panel manufacturing.

The T-50 container is built from high-strength stainless steel designed to withstand ammonia’s corrosive nature and high pressures.

INOX said the container will help meet growing demand for high-purity chemical transport, particular in sectors requiring precision manufacturing. It added that the tank could reduce India’s reliance on imported UHP gas containers while expanding the country’s export footprint.
