African Oxygen (Afrox) has issued a statement announcing the resignation of managing director Tjaart Kruger, effective in the third quarter of year, with an exact date to be confirmed.
Kruger took up the position in 2007 and the statement notes that ‘Mr Kruger made a valuable contribution to Afrox since taking the reigns of the company’.
Further, he played a ‘key role in its reorganisation and modernisation to reflect the realities of doing business in today’s challenging economic environment’.
‘The Directors, management and staff of Afrox wish him well in his new endeavours,” it read.
