As a result of the recent flooding in Rio de Janeiro, gasworld has taken the decision to postpone its Latin American Industrial Gases Conference. The event will now take place between 16th and 17th June 2011.
In a press statement the firm explained, “The company would like to extend its sincere sympathies to the people of Rio de Janeiro, and hopes that while human loss can never be overcome, a swift infrastructural recovery can be achieved.”
Taking into account the recovery process, gasworld believes it is only right to put the date of the conference back. The company would like Latin American gas companies to be able to participate fully and enjoy this important event for our industry, and so we believe that delaying is best for all.”
“Therefore,gasworld will be holding its Latin American conference on 16th and 17th June 2011… gasworld apologises for any inconvenience this may have caused.” Despite the amended date, the Windsor Barra Hotel venue remains unchanged, as do the prices and sponsorship packages on offer.
