Green hydrogen producer Lhyfe will purchase wind-generated electricity from Kallista Energy (Kallista) to support its production of green and renewable hydrogen.
Under a corporate power purchase agreement (CPPA), the partners will secure bank financing for the repowering of a wind park in Brachy, in Seine-Maritime (France), which is home to five wind turbines.
Once repowered with the latest-generation turbines, the repowered wind park will be able to generate 70% more electricity with the same number of wind turbines, according to Lhyfe.
