Linde Gas has installed a central gas system for a makeshift hospital providing support for coronavirus patients in Gothenburg, Sweden.
The Swedish Linde plc subsidiary was tasked with quickly coming up with a solution for medical gas supply to the field hospital established by the National Defence outside the Östra Hospital.
Close cooperation with partner companies and extra working hours made it possible to hand over 20 ICU beds in less than a week, and another eight soon afterwards, thanks to an innovative solution from Linde engineers.
