Linde raises stake in Airtec to drive Middle East push


Industrial gas major Linde has increased its shareholding in the Dubai-based industrial gases company Airtec from 49% to over 90%, strengthening its position across the Gulf region.

In a statement, Linde Middle East said the move bolsters its supply chain reliability and customer service to meet growing demand across energy, healthcare and manufacturing.

Airtec’s business also covers emerging sectors such as aquaculture, construction, food & beverage, glass, metal fabrication, refining, plastics, and power and low carbon fuels.

Linde’s EMEA segment accounted for a substantial portion of its global sales in 2024, although specific figures for the Middle East were not available.
