Linde starts up new ASU in South Korea

Linde has today started up a new air separation unit (ASU) in South Korea.

The new 700 tonnes-per-day (tpd) plant will supply nitrogen to support Samsung in Tangjeong. This is the company’s fourth ASU at the facility.

Linde’s nitrogen is used to cool and purge applications in Samsung’s manufacturing process.

“Linde has worked successfully with Samsung for over 40 years and we are fully committed to supporting its expanded production capacities with a broad array of gases and applications technologies along with seamless customer support,” said B.S. Sung, President of Linde Korea.
