MATHESON is the largest subsidiary of Taiyo Nippon Sanso, company Chairman, Bill Kroll, commented, “Operating under the name Matheson Tri-Gas made sense for us in the 90’s and early 2000’s. At that time, we were the combination of two companies, one named Matheson and the other named Tri-Gas. In the six years since 2004, we have added seven more companies to our proud family. Kroll paid particular attention to recent acquisition, stating, “Each acquisition has been strategic. But in every case, we added something of value. In cases like ETOX and FiveStar, we added access to geographic markets that were important to us; with Polar, Aeris, and AGT, we added creative technology.”
He continued, “We are not simply the combination of acquisitions. We are a unified entity with many locations. We are one company; and we should be known by one brand name.”
