Multi-feature C2000 valve introduced by Cryocomp


Cryocomp has added the C2000 cryogenic Y pattern valve to its extensive product line, especially suitable for high flow capacity system applications.

Available in a range from ½” through to 1-1/2” pipe size with manual or actuated operation, the valve is described as a ‘superb choice for utility drop locations’.

With a design which can be used in both horizontal runs and vertical run applications, users will find a number of valuable features from use of the C2000. These include its bubble tight seat seal design, redundant top works seals, a bonnet purge port which can double up as a relief valve location, and installed radiation insulation.

Cryocomp notes that the C2000 is best suited for use with liquid nitrogen, argon and oxygen (with special cleaning), while the valve is also available in a globe and angle pattern with manual and pneumatic operation.
