There’s a new player on the helium market. Exploration and gas production firm New Era Helium Corp is now producing helium within the Permian Basin in southeast New Mexico.
The company owns and operates over 137,000 acres in the region and has over 2.5 billion cubic feet of proved, probable, and possible helium reserves.
Further to that, New Era helium is gearing up to build a new facility to process up to 20,000 cubic feet per day of inlet gas, producing more than 32,000 million cubic feet of helium per year. This will represent approximately 1% of the North American helium market.
