New South Wales sees launch of its first hydrogen refuelling station

A new commercial hydrogen-powered refuelling station in New South Wales, Australia, has been launched today (28thJuly) in New South Wales, Australia, the first of its kind in the state.

Started up between partners Coregas and Haskel, the H2Station has been installed on the Bluescope Steel site and will be used to fill heavy hydrogen fuel cell-powered vehicles, including HGVs, buses and refuse vehicles.

Located in Port Kembla, the station is designed for ‘highly demanding refuelling profiles’ and is equipped with the capacity to provide over 400kg of hydrogen per day.
