Australian helium exploration company Noble Helium has completed drilling at Mbelele-2 at its North Rukwa helium project in Tanzania.
In an update published today (27th Nov), Noble Helium said significant helium increases in the mud gas have confirmed multiple zones of interest in the Mbelele-2 wellbore, including some pre-drill zones of interest.
The wireline logging and sampling programme is currently underway, and preliminary results are expected to be available in the near-term. The well will then be lined and suspended to allow for potential future flow testing after the coming wet season.
Justyn Wood, CEO of Noble Helium, described early indications as excellent and consistent with the results to date at Mbelele-1.
