Orlen eyes European hydrogen supply network after funding boost


Polish multinational operator Orlen plans to build a hydrogen supply network around Poland and into Europe after securing PLN1.7bn ($459m) of grant funding for two clean hydrogen projects.

The funds will be paid out from the National Recovery Plan budget.

Hydrogen Eagle is expected to produce hydrogen using renewable electricity and municipal waste, for the transport and industrial sectors.
