Specialty Gas Report has learned that Engineered Controls International, LLC, the manufacturer of the RegO® line of products as well as Goddard Valves, has been 100 percent acquired by Windjammer Capital Investors, CITIC Capital Partners, and the Engineered Controls International management team.

Thomas Farrell, President and CEO of Engineered Controls International, released a statement to customers, suppliers, and service providers on December 3 alerting them to the news, noting that the company expects the move “will present many positive opportunities for all of us as we move forward.”

Farrell conveyed that both the RegO and Goddard lines will continue to be produced and serviced at the highest quality that customers “have come to expect from our company and all of its employees.” He also noted that Engineered Controls International’s current management team will continue to lead the company moving forward.

“We want to thank you for your past business and continued support,” Farrell wrote at the conclusion of the letter. “Your loyalty and dedication has made RegO the leading supplier of valves and regulators for the LP-Gas, LNG, and cryogenics industries and we look forward to working closely with you in the future.”
