0

A graphite rupture disc developed by German safety and control technology manufacturer REMBE has been designed as a completely leak-proof solution for processes that use corrosive media and ultra-high temperatures.

Equipped with a pyro-carbon (PyC) coating the rupture disc can resist significantly higher temperatures while remaining leak tight, making it ideal for use in reactors, tanks, glass containers and other system parts in the chemical, petrochemical and pharmaceutical industries.

According to the company, the GRX possess temperature resistance between -180C and 500C (or 1,500C without an oxygen atmosphere).
