Specialty Oxygen Service Ltd (SOS), a medical accessory provider, is now fully licensed to manufacture and distribute medical gases.
After a lengthy research and development project, the UK-based business was granted the MIA Manufacturers and Importers licence under the Medicines and Healthcare Products Regulatory Agency.
SOS will now specialise in the manufacture and supply of medicinal gases such as oxygen (O2) and OxynoxTM, a 50:50 mixture of medical O2 and nitrous oxide, from its new centralised base in Appley Bridge, Lancashire.
