Waves of celebratory music were reportedly heard to come from Suzhou, Jiangsu Province, China in late October, as Suzhou Oxygen Plant Co. Ltd (SOPC) celebrated its 40th anniversary.
In addition to the celebrations the company, established in May 1971, officially inaugurated its new manufacturing plant.
The new site of SOPC, which cost a total investment of RMB150m, is in the Xujiang Industrial Park of Suzhou in Jiangsu Province and has an area of 66 thousand square metres – the first phase has a covered area of 37 thousand square metres.
Invited guests to the ceremony included Mr. Yao Dongming, Deputy President of the Political Consultative Conference of the Suzhou City and the President of Industrial and Commerce Joint Association of Suzhou, and other distinguished government officials, and customers from home and abroad.
