Off the back of high demand for liquified natural gas (LNG) fuelled vessels, marine pump specialist Svanehøj has developed a high-pressure pump solution for two-stroke engines.
Dubbed, the HPP Triplex Unit, the high-pressure pump is a compact unit with three combined cold ends designed for optimal flow and longer service internals.
The cold end includes an innovative low-pressure sealing arrangement that reduces friction, ensuring longer service intervals.
To further reduce maintenance costs, Svanehøj has also developed a cartridge solution for swift sealing replacement. The innovation also incorporates a new inlet valve design.
