Mysore commissions ‘ultra-modern’ ammonia storage plant for Rawabi in Saudi Arabia

India-based ammonia specialist Mysore Ammonia Envirotech (Mysore) has successfully commissioned a fully automated ammonia storage and handling plant for Rawabi Integrated Gases (RIG) at Al Jubail, Saudi Arabia.

Designed, installed and commissioned by Mysore, the plant features two 65m3 storage tanks for anhydrous ammonia equipped with facilities for the direct unloading (via compressors) of ammonia from road tankers or ISO containers.

According to Mysore, the plant also consists of an automatic dilution plant for the production of aqueous ammonia of concentrations ranging from 15-25% depending on the requirement.
