Wärtsilä to deliver biogas upgrading and liquefaction solution for Gasum bioLNG facility

Technology group Wärtsilä is to deliver the know-how and equipment for the Gasum bioLNG project in Sweden, it has confirmed.

Gasworld reported in February this year how Nordic gas sector and energy market expert Gasum had begun construction work on the new biogas plant in the Swedish community of Götene.

Having received final construction permits at the end of January 2023, the plant will produce 120 gigawatt hours (Gwh) worth of liquefied biogas or LBG per year from early 2025 onwards.
