Munster-based industrial gas group Westfalen AG is highlighting its provision of gases and services to the pharmaceuticals and healthcare sector, at events in its native Germany.
The company’s Industrial Gas division produces a broad range of specialty gases for applications in the pharmaceutical, biotechnology and medicine industries.
Westfalen AG demonstrated some of these capabilities at the BIOTECHNICA event in Hannover last month, including its newly developed Pharmagase gas mixture. The company also supplies liquid helium for MRI machine applications.
At the event in Hannover, Westfalen put particular emphasis on its freezing provisions for cryopreservation purposes in the biotechnology sector. The company is especially advanced in this area, through its dedicated refrigeration business arm.
